SATKOF President Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay and İzmir Provincial Representative Gül Eğriboz became a strong link in the Health Diploma Bridges.

As Turkey’s rising role in the international health tourism arena becomes more visible every day, SATKOF Izmir Provincial Chair Gül Eğriboz, the most dynamic representative of this vision in Izmir, drew attention at the 1st International Health Tourism Bridges: Health Diplomacy and Innovation in Turkey Congress held in Balçova on November 21-22.

Held under the leadership of Health Tourism Confederation (SATKOF) President Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay and attended by high-level representatives from around the world, the congress further strengthened Turkey’s global influence in health diplomacy and once again demonstrated the strategic importance of the work being done in Izmir.

In line with the national vision set forth by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the congress, which was brought to life with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade, and Ministry of Culture and Tourism, discussed innovative steps for the future of health tourism, Satkof President Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay and İzmir Provincial Representative Gül Eğriboz became a strong link in the Health Diploma Bridges.

Eğriboz drew attention with her efforts to strengthen the sector locally and solidify Izmir’s place on the international health tourism map. Her active participation in the congress made the message “Izmir is the strategic crossroads of health tourism bridges” abundantly clear.

With Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay’s visionary approach transforming the conference into an international gathering, Gül Eğriboz’s stance, communication skills, and representational abilities played a significant role in making İzmir one of the key players in the conference.

In this major organization, which increased Turkey’s influence in health diplomacy, the message conveyed by Gül Eğriboz as the President of SATKOF İzmir could be summarized in a single sentence:
