Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he nominated U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. This is something Trump has wanted for a long time.
While giving the letter he sent to the prize committee to Trump, Netanyahu said, “He is making peace in many countries and many regions right now.”
Netanyahu may not be alone in this opinion.
In June, Pakistan said it planned to nominate Trump for the prize, saying he helped with ceasefire talks between India and Pakistan in May.
But the next day, after the U.S. bombed nuclear facilities in neighboring Iran, this suggestion was criticized on social media.
