Kemeraltı Bazaar, which has an important place in the commercial memory of Izmir, hosted a meaningful meeting. Taner Özgür, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vizyon Media Group and also President of the Business World Federation, visited Semih Girgin, President of Kemeraltı Tradesmen Association, at the headquarters of the association.

Within the scope of the visit, opinions were exchanged on many topics such as the historical texture of Kemeraltı, current problems of tradesmen, digitalization process and increasing the economic vitality of the region. Taner Özgür emphasized the importance of solidarity between local media and artisans and said, “Kemeraltı is not only a bazaar, but also a cultural heritage. We should all work together to make this value more visible and strengthen it.”

Semih Girgin expressed his satisfaction with the visit and said, “Mr. Taner’s support and media vision are a source of morale and motivation for our tradesmen. We would be happy to walk together to carry Kemeraltı to a stronger future,” he said.

At the end of the visit, messages of mutual goodwill were exchanged and it was agreed to cooperate on joint projects in the future.
