Assoc. Doç. Dr. Neşe Mehmetoğlu who has attracted attention with her work combining academia, public policy, and social benefit, is opening the door to a new era at SATKON as Vice President in charge of Universities. Dr. Mehmetoğlu, a graduate of Hacettepe University, completed his doctoral education at the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Inönü University. Continuing his academic journey as a faculty member at Malatya Turgut Özal University, Mehmetoğlu has earned a respected position in the scientific world through his national and international scientific studies, his editorship in academic journals, and his membership in publication boards. In addition to his academic output, Assoc.Doç. Dr. Neşe Mehmetoğlu has a strong track record in institutional management. He has made significant contributions in the areas of strategic planning, quality management, and institutional sustainability by holding critical administrative positions such as Vice Dean, Department Chair, and Quality Board Member. He has been one of the key figures directly contributing to the shaping of public health policies through his roles in various committees and commissions within the Ministry of Health. Viewing social responsibility as a natural extension of academia, Mehmetoğlu set an exemplary model by bringing the concepts of lifelong learning and healthy aging to the field in his role as Project Director of the Malatya Campus of the “60+ Rejuvenation University.” This approach, which brings academic knowledge to society, stands out as one of the most distinctive aspects of his scientific identity.
