Taner’le Genç Yorum Gündem Özel, which was broadcast on Vizyon TV screens, left its mark on the political agenda on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Four political party leaders participated in the live broadcast moderated by Taner Özgür:

In the program, which started at 21.00 and reached a wide audience, the critical issues that the country is going through were discussed. The main agenda items of the program were the economy, the ideal of Turkey without terrorism and the 400 fake diploma allegations.
New Solutions for the Economy Proposed
In their evaluations on the economy, all four presidents argued that the purchasing power of the people has decreased and that concrete steps should be taken in the fight against inflation. Ahmet Kaya emphasized the importance of a domestic production model based on agriculture, while Yılmaz Gülümser stated that unemployment can be prevented with national production strategies.
Varol Esen emphasized that young people should take an active role in production, while Ergin Dursun stated that the incentives to be provided to small and medium-sized enterprises will breathe life into the country’s economy.
Emphasis on Terror Free Turkey
Another noteworthy topic of the program was the fight against terrorism. All party leaders stated that Turkey deserves a safe and peaceful future free from terrorism.
Ahmet Kaya said, “There will be no compromise in the fight against terrorist organizations,” while Yılmaz Gülümser said that intelligence and security coordination should be strengthened. Varol Esen drew attention to the need to increase border security measures. Ergin Dursun also argued for the importance of a common understanding of the fight against terrorism that encompasses all segments of society.
400 Fake Diploma Allegations Discussed
The 400 fake diploma allegations that shook the agenda were also discussed extensively in the program. The guest presidents emphasized that the lack of supervision in education paves the way for such scandals and that there is a serious weakness in the system.
Ahmet Kaya made a harsh outburst by saying, “If even diplomas are forged, our future is in danger.” Yılmaz Gülümser expressed the need for radical reforms in the national education system, while Varol Esen and Ergin Dursun stated that increased inspections are inevitable.
