


At least 15 Palestinians, including eight children and two women, were killed in an airstrike by the Israeli army on civilians waiting to receive food in front of a clinic in central Gaza.
Footage confirmed by the BBC and shared on social media shows adults and children lying on the ground at the scene of the attack, which took place on July 10. Some of the people in the images were seriously injured, while others were not moving at all.
The clinic was being operated by the US-based charity Project Hope. The organization said the attack was a clear violation of international law.
Project Hope said the attack took place outside the Altayara health clinic in Deir al-Balah, ha The clinic provides services for health issues such as malnutrition, infections and chronic diseases.
One of the witnesses to the incident, Yusuf al-Aydi, told the AFP news agency, “Suddenly we heard the sound of a drone, then there was an explosion. The ground shifted from under our feet, everything was covered in blood and there was a scream.”
